Event Details

Chanty Jong was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. When she was 8 years old, civil war erupted in Cambodia. She lived through the terror of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge, and survived to ultimately escape to the United States. Chanty will speak about the horrors she endured and her method of combating her PTSD by reconstructing the inner self through meditation.
