Event Details

Join us as we learn about a research expedition in the Peruvial Amazon to conserve one of the largest protected areas in Peru. Learn how the EarthWatch organization and their volunteers are surveying freshwater dolphins, wading birds and macaws, and primates and other mammals. Learn how this research is performed and the purpose of it. You will also learn how the people of the Amazon live in this very hot, humid and rainy climate.
This program will be presented by Larry A. Lyons, EnviroQuest Photography.
