This program has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m.

Though the cure for Alzheimer’s disease has not been found, it has been discovered through research that we can significantly reduce our chances of developing Alzheimer’s with a plant-based diet.
This presentation will help you to understand why a plant-based diet is “brain healthy”, and why a diet high in cholesterol and saturated fat is not. We will also discuss the best foods for brain health; statistics and research regarding Alzheimer’s Disease and nutrition; and tips on how to incorporate more brain-healthy, plant-based foods into your diet.
Presented by Kyleigh Heins and Elise Woods, Corporate Manager of Community Wellness at Jefferson Health, and sponsored by the Vegetarian Society of South Jersey.
This program is free and open to everyone. Advance online or phone registration is required.
